Kid's lemonade stands are illegal in 34 states, says a recent news story in Route Fifty. Sounds silly, right? Nonetheless, police shut down a kid's stand last year in Denver, CO reports the article. After the shut down story went viral, the Denver City Council "changed the city’s local ordinance to exempt 'children’s neighborhood beverage stands' from permit requirements."
